Details
Originating as a pandemic pop-up, this Greenpoint spot has evolved into a beloved destination for high-quality New York-style pies [1]. The restaurant is celebrated for its exceptionally saucy profile and crust that achieves a light, shattering texture [1], [2]. While the lack of individual slices can be a point of friction for some, the community consensus remains that the quality of these whole pies is well worth the investment [3], [4].
Food Overview
The menu focuses on high-quality whole pies rather than individual slices, featuring a signature sweet and acidic sauce paired with generous toppings [2]. Standout options include the classic pepperoni pie, known for its crispy cups of oil [2], and a highly-regarded spicy white pie finished with hot honey [8]. The restaurant also offers customization, including well-received cheeseless red pie options [9].
