TLDR
Top-tier bagels with stellar spreads and salmon. A standout city staple that's frequently recommended by locals.
Details
Renowned for high-quality bagels and exceptional spreads, this spot is a frequent recommendation among local enthusiasts [1][7]. Diners particularly praise the flavor and quality of their salmon, even if some prefer the specific bread texture offered by competing shops [3]. While generally celebrated, the menu has seen changes, including the removal of pumpernickel bagels [13].
Food Overview
This shop is highly regarded for its excellent bagels, spreads, and salmon [3]. Standout items include the Super Nova bagel [2] and a well-regarded BEC sandwich served with a hashbrown [12]. While many favor their offerings, note that pumpernickel is no longer available on the menu [13].
Caveats
Some diners prefer the bread texture at other establishments like Apollo [2], and pumpernickel has been removed from the menu [13].
