Details
A go-to spot for iconic New York pastries, this bakery has gained a reputation for its signature babka and high-quality breads [14]. While it is a beloved destination for many, some patrons feel the quality of certain items has fluctuated over time or that prices have become quite high [19], [58], [68]. Despite this, it remains a frequent recommendation for those looking for reliable treats like rugelach or French-style croissants [11], [40], [56].
The chocolate babka and chocolate rugelach are frequently praised by visitors, as are the flaky croissants and savory cheese sticks [20], [40], [44], [60].
Feedback is generally positive regarding the quality of pastries, though some customers have noted concerns regarding recent price increases and perceived inconsistencies in quality [19], [58], [67].
